The James A. Garfield Camp # 142 was responsible for getting 13 Civil War headstones installed at this same cemetery. It is a shame that these 2 juveniles would show no regard or respect. The James A. Garfield Camp #142 will be making a donation to help with the restoration and repair of the damaged headstones.

NORTH OLMSTED, Ohio -- Police are looking for the people responsible for vandalizing more than 100 tombstones in a North Olmsted cemetery.
Police say that sometime between late Saturday night and early Sunday morning, the vandals came into North Olmsted Cemetery on Butternut Ridge, knocking over and damaging more than 120 monuments and markers.
So far, police can't find any witnesses, but say that when the culprits are caught they will be charged with a felony, both because of the extent of damage and the fact that it is government property, owned and run by the city of North Olmsted.
The historic cemetery contains the graves of veterans from six American wars dating back to the Revolutionary War.
