it be known that this 11th day of May, 2009, the following camps are hereby
suspended due to failure to file their 27a (Annual Status Report) by the
April 30th deadline: McKinley Camp
#21, Triem Camp #43 and Banning Camp #207. This is in violation of Dept.
By-laws: Article 4, Section 4 and National C & R: Chapter 1, Article 1,
Suspended camps may be reinstated by forwarding all required reports, monies
due and a $20 reinstatement fee. Delegates from suspended camps may attend
the Dept. Encampment, but may not vote on any items of business. A
suspended camp that is not reinstated after one year will be dropped.
127th Department Encampment will soon be upon us on Saturday, June 13, 2009
at the Franklin County Veteran's Memorial Building in Columbus. Please make
sure to register with Chief-of-Staff Jonathan Davis. The deadline to
register is May 16, 2009. I hope to see all of you there.
All Dept. Officers must submit their reports to
Secretary/Treasurer Jim Crane by no later than June 1st.
