Brothers of the Department of Ohio;

 

It is with great sorrow that I inform you of the passing of Brother Kirby Bauman, Dept. Color Guard, on Sunday, December 7, 2008.  Brother Bauman was a member of the William T. Sherman Camp #93, Dayton.  He was very active within the SUVCW, at both the Camp and Dept. levels.  The Department of Ohio wishes to pass on its condolences to the family of Brother Bauman.

 

It is also with a heavy heart that I inform of the passing of my stepfather, Brother Howard D. Reynolds, on Monday, December 1, 2008.  Brother Reynolds was a charter member of the Pvt. Valentin Keller Camp #8, Fairfield and served as the Camp Chaplain and a Council Member of the Keller Camp.  

 

The Department of Ohio and all camps are hereby ordered to drape their charter for a period of 30 days from the date of this Dept. Order.  The Dept. web site will be draped for the same period of time.
