- It is with deep regret that I announce the passing of Past Commander in Chief Charles “Chuck” Corfman of the Department of Ohio. In addition to being a Commander in Chief, Brother Corfman was Past Department Commander of the Department of Ohio and Past Commander of the Given Camp 51.
- Condolences and cards may be sent to Brother Corfmans wife Mrs. Janice Corfman, 9057 State Route 83, Holmesville, OH 44633-9727. Janice is the Ohio Department President of the Ladies of the Grand Army of the Republic.
- In accordance with General Order #4, Series 2009-2010 issued by Commander-in Chief Leo F. Kennedy, it is ordered that the Department of Ohio Web Site, the Department of Ohio Charter and Camps and membership badges be draped in black for a period of 30 days from the date of this Department Order.
